Second Monthual Alternative To Blues BoardGame Night! Jan. 19th, 2006 @ 06:00 pm
ATBBGN is back!
This Friday!

We'll be starting at 7:00pm in the Terry main lounge, just like last month. Chris and I will be hosting. For those who know where Terry is, this is the lounge on the ground floor, a level below the front desk. Come to the big windows on the South side of the building, and you'll see us in there with a bunch of games come 7:00pm. Given the vagueries of the bus system, I may be late, but Chris will be there for sure.

We had some confusion last time. Terry and Lander are sort of like one big building. Terry is the tower to the West, further away from campus. If you look into the Lander lounge, you won't see us, because we're in the Terry lounge.

Also: When you look into Terry, we won't see you, because of the reflective property of the glass. So pound on the window...

Remember, ATBBGN isn't in competition with Blues Underground, it's an alternative to Blues Underground. Also: It starts at 7:00pm, which means those of you going to Blues Underground could potentially get in a few hours of boardgames before heading off to the dance. I encourage it.

Anybody who doesn't know where Terry Hall is, just ask, I'll give more detailed directions.

See y'all this Friday!

Mistletoast, part 2 Nov. 30th, 2005 @ 11:21 am
Alright, rides have been found and assigned. If you are not aware of anything (haven't talked to me, haven't gotten emails, etc), then at this point it's your own responsibility to get yourself to the Mistletoast. Carpoolers/carpoolees should get ahold of each other to figure out meeting locations and times.

Thanks for your input, everyone!

Mistletoast! Nov. 29th, 2005 @ 09:31 am
Alright, let's figure this out here, rather than on the email list. That way we can avoid spamming people's inboxes.

Details of the Mistletoast are here.

Here's who I have as interested in going:
Michelle B

People who are interested if they can find rides (and it won't kill them not to go):
Me (Jenny)

Deanna has four seats, and Levi has two (and two have already been claimed). If we could find one more car, that would be awesome. If it wouldn't kill you not to go, please respond and say so. If you absolutely want to go, respond and say so. If you don't have a Livejournal account, feel free to post anonymously (just leave your name so we know who you are).

Several people have sent me bus schedules, which I'll post later if need be. Rides would be ideal, since otherwise getting back would be a fairly big issue.

Last Minute Game Night Nov. 11th, 2005 @ 12:32 pm
Prelude to Hep Movie Night:

We don't got no Archery, we don't got no rollerskating.

So we've got Boardgame Night!

My place, at 7pm, tonight! Yeah, that's Friday.

We've got Attika, Carcassonne, Set, Heroscape, Settlers of Catan, etc.

If too many people show up, we'll have Mafia.

My place equals:
Stevens Court Addition, K101

(if you go to Brooklyn and Pacific, its the apartment complex to your northwest, and the furthest west building, and the furthest south groundfloor apartment in that building.)

We'll go until 10:30 or so, then head up to Hep Movie Night.
